Today's theme is Crazy Hair Day!! So no, everybody is not having a bad hair day on the same day, it's on purpose!

Now it's time for a crazy fact about hair. "The average human will grow 590 miles worth of hair during their lifetime." (hair facts). Isn't that insane to think about? My hair feels like it's growing too slowly for that.

Computer science is everywhere, including hair. Some computer scientists are training computers to be able to visually identify hair better. This may not seem important, but someday, these algorithms could be applied to things like identifying skin cancer and improving self-driving cars. Read more about this fascinating project here.
